Alexander McQueen, you will be made immortal and triumph over death

I am so sorry for not updating for a while now.

As you all know McQueen has left this world for a better place.
I was crying myself unconscious for quite some time, because he was the first designer whom I fell in love with. He didnt only enlighten me sartorially, but also brought me a whole new different mindset, attitude and life values. He really did change my life in the most dramatic and amazing ways.

I felt so bad, just like my style icon Daphne Guinness, who was seen in a heavy black veil, mourning for her best friend, but of course my grief cannot be compared to hers. I feel for her, and cannot bear to imagine the anguish she feels.

I saw her catwalking for Fashion Relief, where she, Naomi and other beauties paid the final tribute to McQueen. Photos shown below.

Daphne's tear streaked face was wrapped under a flowing white veil, and she wore a pair of heel-less platform shoes, staggerring in height, to match McQueen's final personal creation for her- a silvery golden shimmerring bodysuit, exquisitely handcrafted for her.

My heart was even more torn when I could see her crying her way through, and could feel her distress as she couldnt bring herself to really magnificently like she always does. She stumbled backwards a bit in her overwhelming thoughts of sorrows and I almost drowned with her... May God bless him and her.

So as you can see, I wasnt in any mood to do anything, let alone update my blog. I dont want to infect readers further with my pain and anguish.

Now, stepping into the new year of the Tiger, this year is sure to be a great year coming.
Lifting my black veil of sorrows, I will make McQueen immortal by carrying on living the way he inspired my to, just like many others like me around the world, who are touched in similar but personal ways.

We love you, Lee. Rest in peace, in a tranquil world of your own. One day, I will catch up with you at the other end of the rainbow, where we will watch the stars fall into the sea.

Tommy Ton's Jak and Jil

A couple of his shots to get you all excited~ Rush to check his blog out!
He captures the essence of the fashion week pack, and other fashion and style inspirations~
love his work!

Runway inspiration

I have no idea why this particular outfit hits me.
A bit Prada-ish, but with a certain vintage aura toit, and a smooth conservative- sexy balnce, portraying femininity at tits best. The girlishness of the soft dusty pink contrasts well with the mature intricate black lace. A vintage lace suit with a flaring mermaid hem, totally gets the job done, you think?

The absolute aura of the gem

Who doesnt love jewelry?
especially those statement jewelry which are bold and big in design.
The Cartier exhibit may well be one of the world's best sneak into the utterly fabulous, but vintage costume jewelryoffer a nice and more affordableselection~
I also threw in a couple of serpent jewelry because they are always so exotic, that i cant help but become mesmerized~

Shoe-gasm~

I have this heel fetish, and I have so much that i would like to share~
I wont stop to name them because there will be loads of photos, but really, I want them all to adorn my feet~
If you havent heard of Tommy Ton's blog "Jak and Jil" and also another blog "The Sea of Shoes", do so ASAP, loads of gorgeous to-die-for heels and fashion to knock you off your feet~!

Ever heardof the UK brand Irregular choice? its a well priced brand with creative "weird" shoes that i absolutely adore~

I also put in Dita's pink crystal louboutin boot and an alexander wang boot aswell as a mcqueen crystal heeled pump which i saw on ebay and is still available if you want one~
