Personal Styling

Im charging a mysterious, provocative, female spy today.
Confident, bold, daring, mysterious, dangerous, sexy and beautiful... All the complexity that makes men curious. Dare to tame her? She will leave you in captive and make you breathless.

Espionage, such an dark exotic feeling. Agent Provocateur sums it up well, in meaning and in name.

The look:
Jean Paul Gaultier military trench jacket that barely covers your buttocks, with the back tail reaching the floor. Hot in front, grand, mysterious and sweeping at the back.
Lingerie cannot be neglected as it is the ultimate empowerment of a female. Bustiers and corsets or other lingerie with sheer panels and black lace fits the bill well. Best to have suspenders.
Then put on vintage or vintage inspired full fashioned black seemed stockings, no lace, no fuss, just gradient black edges, with a nude or black body.
Heels have to be stilettos that are sky high. Alexander McQueen laced up heels with neon pink soles, Valentino lace pumps, Christian Louboutin classic pumps, YSL tribute pumps in black suede, etc.
Black leather gloves is the cherry on top of the cake that has to be present here.

Fiery dream...
Smoking hot isnt she? Make sure you can handle what you ask for.

My love for beautiful lingerie

I love love love lingerie, as it empowers the woman with its aphrodisiac properties.
Vintage or vintage inspired are the best types though, perhaps because Dita Vin Teese is my inspiration?

I love peach/ beige/ pink main tones, overlay with black intricate lace designs.
So I recently bought just that~ A beige satin underlay corset with translucent black lace at the lower part, paired with garter belts, girlish wispy ribbons and subtle diamante.
Most people know I wear the traditional lace up corsets with steel bones that effectively reduces your waist around 3 inches. However, this pretty little thing is a modern day corset, with flimsy soft bones that is just produced for visual provocativeness rather than waist training.

I paired them up with a simple black lace brasserie, black panties and black lace- trimmed suspender stockings. Heels are Yves Saint Laurent Tribute heels in suede.

I am no professional model, so do understand the poor quality and fatness....

Lipstick satin gloves

These dainty little things remind me of those porcelain little waifs with bright red lipsticked pouty mouths and heart shaped sunglasses. I can just picture them wearing these beautiful sensous satin bright red gloves...
sexy and sensous, makes me dream really~wonder why Marilyn Manson's song -Heart Shaped Glasses suddenly pops into my head?

Jean Paul Gaultier satin heels~

Look at these gorgeous pair of Jean Paul Gaultier satin heels~
I have been looking long for ballet heels, but always seem to get those fetish types.
Dont get me wrong, i love those too, but not what i am currently searching for.
In my mind, it is like ballet dancing shoes, with a ribbon at the back that is tied to your ankles and lower legs, perfected with a stilleto heel.

Jean Paul Gaultier's perfect version is created by marrying traditional elegance with a little rock star attitude~ it gives it a harsher edge that oozes sex appeal, without the loss of feminine elegance .Enjoy~!

Who said, metal cages cant be a part of what you wear?

Those who have read parts of my blog before should know how much I love metal clothing, and darker alternative or even fetish fashions.

People, stop being conventional please. Since when did the universe decree the only material suitable for clthes making is limited to soft and supple fabrics? What about plastic , and even metal?

This time, I was surfing thru an online shopping site where a particularly artistic label has these icons for sell.
Metal cage corset with spikes, and to match , a full puff metal cage skirt, also with spikes. (Spikes are removable on both I heard)
Bondage-inspired to me, though it may be fetish wear, alternative to some, or just good old fine metal art to some, its simply a great addition to any modern/historical/ futuristic wardrobe.
These things are never too "it" or out of style. It empowers you, thats all. A symbol of being oppressed, or like to be oppressed, or a symbol of freedom? A scary turn off device or a sex provocateur?
You decide.

Military vs Ninja

Battle ready, thats what I think of the coming turn of menswear fashion.

On fashionising.com , I saw a D&G ad, where a hunk was wearing a Napolean style military jacket in iconic red with gold embellishments and embroidery.

And during the 2010 fall menswear collection for Alexander Mcqueen, he showed dark prints on men's jackets and pants, making it a dark yet chic, collection, suitable for fashionable, modern, urban ninjas. Somehow I suddenly have flashes of Tokyo's most stylish men in my mind. Yeah, those quick snapshots of them on the streets of Tokyo, with a tastefully trimmed beard. Yummy~

Lady Gaga, going up the ladder

I am a die hard fan of style legend Daphne Guinness, that's why Lady Gaga doesnt have too much of a big impression on me. She's different, has her own style, dares to be different, thats it. Of course, some of her outfits look great, but in general, her style lacks grace that Guinness seems to effortlessly emanate, no matter what she is wearing.

However, Lady Gaga seems to be climbing up and up the designer ladder, with the genius Mcqueen and then finally to the fabulous Girogio Armani. I was going thru style.com to see her wear an Armani Prive to the awards. Damn, its perfect. Although the name Lady Gaga and Armani Prive didnt make much of a "click" in my brain when I first heard of it, but man, I have to admit I'm impressed!

Well done Lady Gaga~ You pass my harsh scrutiny test!
